The website, TireCareers.com, was created in response to the need for a dedicated “go-to” source for careers related to the tire industry, according to Mike Cioffi, founder of Tire Talent, a boutique search firm specializing in matching employers and employees in the tire and automotive industry.
Everyone from independent tire dealers to large dealerships are able to post their openings. A fee may be charged in the future, Mr. Cioffi said, to larger dealers for bulk job loads.
“We get weekly inquiries for techs, counter sales reps and various other positions that fall outside the primary scope of service of Tire Talent,” Mr. Cioffi said.
