Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update data into company databases, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify data for completeness and correctness by reviewing reports, documents, and other relevant sources.
- Maintain and manage filing systems and records both electronically and physically.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data security and integrity.
- Handle and manage confidential information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with data collection and preparation for analysis as needed.
- Generate reports and prepare documents based on entered data.
- Perform routine quality checks on data and identify any inconsistencies or errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Respond to inquiries related to data or documents as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or administrative support is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management systems.
- Strong typing speed with excellent attention to detail (e.g., 50-60 WPM with high accuracy).
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
