General ResponsibilitiesComply always and fully with LIN SCAN IT requirementsBe quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secretsRespect and support fellow employees at all timesRespond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)Act in such a manner that LIN SCAN’s reputation is highly respected Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final productFollow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when requiredAssure timely and accurate reporting to LIN SCAN IT DepartmentIdentify training requirementsKey Responsibilities & AuthoritiesFollows up delivery and receipt of cargo/shipment Acts as a liaison between departments/projects/managers regarding shipmentsCoordinates with Production regarding readiness of tools for shipment Demobilization follow upsCoordinate with projects and production department to set timing for shipmentsResponsible for updated and accurate database of tools and materials (weight measurement, quantity, and origin) for easy reference Responsible for shipping documentation, attestation and coordination with freight forwarder/cargo agents for on time dispatchKeeps himself update about customs rules and regulations in various destinations where Lin Scan ships it toolsEstablishes good working relations with local of international forwarding agents to secure a good control and company’s shipmentsBack up for Logistics-in-chargeCoordination of drivers AccountabilityPlan mobilization and demobilization transactions on monthly basis Submit daily reportInsure all shipments on time Responsible for updated and accurate database of tools and materials (weight measurement, quantity, and origin) for easy reference Competency RequirementsCommunication: Creates and encourages two-way communication opportunities; demonstrates and promotes positive work relationships; proactively addresses and manages conflict and disputes; works to achieve constructive resolution.
