As the name suggests, Side lets students make some money on the side by working for companies for a few days or weeks. It\u2019s a marketplace that helps you scale your workforce for a product launch, peak season and more.<\/p>\n<p>Agla\u00e9 Ventures, Jacques-Antoine Granjon and others are also participating in today\u2019s funding round, as well as existing investors Connect Ventures, Fly Ventures and TheFamily.<\/p>\n<p>Think about Side as a sort of \u201cstaffing-as-a-service\u201d startup. It isn\u2019t a typical job board or temp agency. It\u2019s a marketplace of freelancers that you can hire for a specific task. It\u2019s like being a Deliveroo driver, but for all sorts of jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Side handles all the administrative tasks \u2014 billing clients, collecting payments and paying you.
