Jobandtalent.com was founded in 2009 by Juan Urdiales and Felipe Navio. Based in Madrid, Jobandtalent is a job marketplace, with unique job matching technology and staff management service. <\/p>\n

It has topped up its Series A funding round with another $25 million. The startup is continuing discussions on closing a \u201cmassive\u201d Series B round with some new investors in the coming months. The round was led by Atomico, the firm set up by Skype founder Niklas Zennstr\u00f6m, with participation from FJ Labs (Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00edn, founder of DeRemate.com, and Fabrice Grinda, founder of OLX.com); Adeyemi Ajao, founder of Identified and currently VP Technology Strategy at Workday and Steve Goodman, founder of Bright.com, which sold to LinkedIn in 2014.<\/p>\n

Jobandtalent uses a linguistics algorithm to identify patterns within the structure and phrasing of job adverts and CVs \u2014 converting them into data points to match candidates to suitable jobs.
\nThis allows for job seekers to do less active seeking themselves, with the platform pinging them when it thinks it\u2019s found a suitable vacancy. <\/p>\n

It plans to shut its desktop product and going purely mobile, adding mobile messaging and geolocation to its apps to accelerate utility to candidates and employers.<\/p>\n

Jobandtalent.com has attracted more than 10 million registered users and over 450,000 new users join each month via mobile. <\/p>\n
